Faith

And without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6, MEV)

At 3RWC, faith in Jesus is the foundation of everything we do. We strive to live out of our faith in Him because we understand is not enough to just say we have faith. Chapter 2 of James tells us faith without works is dead. In other words, don't just say you believe it, act like you believe it. It is therefore our mission to live out of our faith in Him through a lifestyle of worship and in service to others because we know that authentic worship begins at the alter of our hearts. It is at that alter where we say Lord, not my will, but your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Hope

"Hope is to our spirits what oxygen is to our lungs"; (Lewis B. Smedes).

Many people in the world live with little to no hope; at least not real hope. They struggle with feelings of self-worth, acceptance, shame, guilt, and condemnation. They grasp for things to make them feel better such as food, alcohol, money, and the approval of others. Ultimately, these lead to addictions, depravity, trying to live up to the expectations of others, and the desperation of struggling to find meaning and purpose in life. In these things, there is no real hope. Real hope can only be found in a personal relationship with Jesus. Why? Because Jesus is the author of HOPE! It is only in Him that we find the truth regarding our purpose and our value in life. It is in Him we find the strength to go on when the world is falling apart around us. He is our strength, our refuge, our strong tower and it is only in Him that mankind has any hope; the confident assurance that as He is so are we in this world.

Love

In the world, love comes in many forms and fashions. At 3RWC we believe there is only one true way to love; God's way!

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets" (Matthew 22:36-40, NKJV).

From this passage, we get a foundational truth of about God's perspective on not only what LOVE is, but also how LOVE works: You are only capable of loving your neighbor as well as you love yourself and you will only be able to love yourself as well as you know how much God loves you. Why? Because HE is LOVE! (1 John 4:8) He is the author of LOVE (agape in the Greek) because all LOVE originates from Him. It is His identity and the essence of everything He does as YHWH ELOHIM, The LORD GOD.

Our greatest desire at 3RWC is to see people equipped with the revelation knowledge of how much God loves each of us so that we can grow in relationship with Him and become conduits of His love for others. In doing this we fulfill what Jesus tells us are the greatest commandments of loving God, becoming image bearers of His great Love toward us, and the expression of His Love to everyone around us.
